Pizza Recipes
Three Cheese Pizza
1/2 cup chopped scallions
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 medium red bell pepper, sliced into thin strips
1 tablespoon margarine
1 loaf French bread (about 21" long), split lengthwise and toasted
1 jar (14 oz.) Ragu Pizza Quick Sauce
1 cup shredded provolone cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. In a large skillet, saute scallions, mushrooms
and pepper in margarine until vegetables are tender; set aside. Top each piece
of bread evenly with sauce. Evenly top with vegetable mixture, provolone,
mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Bake 15 minutes or until heated through.
Serves 8.
After-The-Game Pizza
1 jar (14 oz.) Ragu Pizza Quick Sauce
1 loaf French bread (about 14" long), split lengthwise and toasted
1 1/2 cups thinly sliced pepperoni
2 cans (4 oz. each) sliced mushrooms, drained
2 medium green bell peppers, sliced into rings
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Evenly spoon sauce over toasted bread. Evenly top
with pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers and cheese. Bake 20 minutes or until
heated through.
Serves 6.
Italian Specialty Of The House Pizza
1 pound Italian sausage, sliced
1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil
2 small zucchini, sliced
1 small eggplant, sliced
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 jar (4 oz.) sliced pimentos, drained
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 round loaf Italian or French bread (10" diameter), split and toasted
1 jar (14 oz.) Ragu Pizza Quick Sauce
1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. In a large skillet, saute sausage in oil until
meat is thoroughly cooked. Add zucchini, eggplant and garlic powder; saute until
vegetables are almost tender. Drain fat. Combine pimentos and Parmesan cheese
with sausage mixture; set aside. Evenly cover each piece of bread with half a
jar of sauce, sausage mixture and cheese. Bake 13-15 minutes or until heated
through.
Serves 8.
